FORGIVENESS I say forgive and forget. You will say ‘easier said than done’. I am the person hurt. I feel the pain. I need something to soothe the pain. I need revenge in one way or another. That’s the least I can do to ease the discomfort. The hurt will not go away unless he or she also feels the same or more pain than I feel. At the most I may say that I have forgiven, but, but forget, I will never. . . But let’s just take a moment to step back and understand why most, if not all, religious books like the Bible or a lot of text from the Buddha and many other such credible sources highlight the importance of forgiveness. We all agree on one thing and that is “everything begins and ends in the mind”. The truth is; it does and this statement requires no proof.
